- Is CryoZen open source?
- No. The source is published and readable on GitHub, but it is released under a proprietary license, not an OSI-approved open source license. Read LICENSE.md in the repository for the exact terms.
- Do I pay per model call?
- Not to us. CryoZen talks to model backends you choose. Local backends cost you nothing but electricity, and hosted providers bill you directly on your own API keys.
- Where is my data stored?
- On the machine running CryoZen. The server binds to 127.0.0.1 by default, credentials are encrypted at rest, and the application sends no telemetry.
- What happens if I stop paying?
- The instance is yours and keeps running on your hardware. A lapsed subscription affects support and commercial licensing terms, not your access to your own data.
